Lamons is pleased to announce the acquisition of X-Cel India Private Limited based in Faridabad, India, effective September 13, 2011. X-Cel India Private Limited is a manufacturer of API 6A ring type joint gaskets in various materials utilized by the oilfield and industrial markets. This facility will be known as Lamons Gasket and Bolt India Private Limited. The acquisition also includes the existing ring gasket inventory of X-Cel Houston which will be moved to the Lamons Houston Headquarters facility near Hobby Airport.
The acquisition further positions Lamons as the premier manufacturer and distributor of gaskets and fasteners globally. Lamons Gasket and Bolt India, along with Lamons Houston, have the ability to manufacture the full range of API ring gaskets, including advanced machining capabilities that enable the manufacture of custom size rings in various made-to-order configurations using specialty steels and other exotic materials. We are excited about the ability to increase our product capacity to our existing and new customers, and to further expand our global footprint.
