Since 1947, Lamons® has been producing safety sealing and attachment solutions for a wide variety of critical industries across the globe. As a leading manufacturer of gaskets, fasteners, and hoses, we provide quality products, on-time delivery and exceptional customer service to keep your operations running 24/7/365.
Hoses are a critical aspect of our sealing and attachment solutions portfolio. By offering high-quality hose products and assorted fittings upon request, along with a wide array of gaskets and standard and specialty fasteners, we are a true one-stop resource. We provide engineered and tailored solutions that you cannot always get from larger hose manufacturers that focus on moving off-the-shelf products and large-quantity orders.
For high-performance, high-quality, custom hoses, fittings, replacements, and welded components, Lamons can deliver what you need, when you need it. Since our hose products are fabricated and distributed out of four U.S. locations, we can handle large, small and customized orders with extreme ease and care.
Our hose products undergo non-destructive testing (NDT) and certification, failure analysis, on-site application analysis, and field engineering.
Higher temperature, higher chemical resistance and higher pressure rating
Lamons offers hoses made with 321 SS, 316 SS, bronze, Monel®, Inconel®, and Hastelloy®. We produce braided or double-braided, reinforced hoses with these same materials. Our products are available from 1⁄4” to 14” (.635 to 35.56 cm) sizes, with a maximum allowable working pressure (MAWP) of up to 4,406 psi (304 bar). Certain hoses are suitable for temperatures ranging from cryogenic to 2000°F (1093°C).
Where corrosion, temperature and cleanliness are a factor
These products are made with fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) backing, and they are braided and reinforced with textile cord and steel wire helix or highly flexible thermoplastic or fluoroplastic plies. The outer covers are ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM). Hoses range in size from 1⁄2” to 6” (1.27 to 15.24 cm), with a MAWP of up to 450 psi (31 bar) and are suitable for temperatures ranging from -40 to 350°F (-40 to 167°C).
Lower temperatures, mild chemical resistance and lower pressure ratings
Chemical hoses are produced with ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) backing and braided and reinforced with textile cord and steel wire helix or highly flexible thermoplastic or fluoroplastic plies. The outer cover is EPDM. They range in size from 3⁄4” to 4” (2 to 10 cm), with a MAWP of up to 250 psi (17 bar) and are suitable for temperatures ranging from -40 to 212°F (-40 to 100°C), depending on type.
Petroleum hoses are made with nitrile reinforced with textile cord and steel wire helix. The outer cover is nitrile. They range in size from 1” to 8” (2.5 to 20 cm), with a MAWP of up to 300 psi (21 bar) and are suitable for temperatures ranging from -40 to 180°F (-40 to 82°C).
For steam, water, air and nitrogen service
These products are constructed with EPDM or oil-resistant nitrile and are reinforced with high-tensile textile cord or steel wire. The outer covers are nitrile or neoprene, offered in various colors. These hoses are available in sizes ranging from 1⁄4” to 2” (.6 to 5 cm), with a MAWP of up to 300 psi (21 bar) and can service temperatures ranging from -40 to 212°F (-40 to 100°C).
Where superior flexibility is needed
These hoses are constructed with galvanized stainless steel or polypropylene-coated steel wire and high-density polypropylene or PTFE inner liner, depending on the type. The outer covers are offered in various colors. These hoses are available in sizes ranging from 1” to 10” (2.54 to 25.4 cm), with a MAWP of up to 200 psi (14 bar) or 250 psi (17 bar), depending on type, and they can service temperatures ranging from -40 to 212°F (-40 to 100°C) or -40 to 250°F (-40 to 121°C), depending on type.
